I can’t believe it’s already been a full year since I finally decided to launch my theatre blog. I’ve had some bumps down the road due to personal matters, but if it wasn’t for the community welcoming me with open arms, I wouldn’t have achieved what I already have including backstage tours, press nights and becoming a critic for Broadway World!
I genuinely want to thank every person whose supported me throughout this journey whether it’s keeping up with my socials I’m still trying to get the hang of or reading my posts. Given how unhappy I was trying my hand at lifestyle blogging, knowing that I’ve managed to inspire people through expressing my passion for something I truly love has made it all worthwhile.
So, what’s my big announcement? Well…
Announcement Drumroll…

I’m launching a Patreon!
I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, but those voices saying “no” or “you can’t do it” have made me feel anxious and. Given what I’ve accomplished from shutting those voices down, I only felt it appropriate to launch it on my blog’s first anniversary.
Only a few know the details of what’s happened in my personal situation over the last month, but what I will say is that it means I have more time to write up reviews and I now want to take my writing and marketing for theatre seriously as a career. I don’t know where to begin as I know need to make a steady income (especially in this economy), but I’m hoping my Patreon is a good start.
OK, what’s in it for me?

Of course you’re probably wondering “why should I pay a blogger?” Trust me, I thought that myself before deciding to do my Patreon and even leading up to this announcement. I only have two tiers at the moment, and I plan on adding more fun stagey content as I grow my platform. Some of it is currently in progress, but here’s a taste of what you will get by becoming one of my patrons:
- Early access to posts
- Exclusive interviews
- Exclusive posts
- Control of what I write with monthly polls
- Freebies
- Exclusive giveaways
- Maybe a podcast…?

Again, I can’t thank you all enough and any contribution will be helping me become a theatre blogger and content creator full time. If it weren’t for all of your support, none of this would be happening.
